Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours per day Employment Type: Travel Job Description As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within the respective state Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care Understand adaptive equipment Evaluate and create a plan of care Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience in a clinical setting (1‑year preferred; 6‑months acceptable for exceptional candidates) Valid BLS certification State‑specific licensing Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Preferred: 2 or more years of experience Compensation Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend to be determined.
