Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Telecare continues to advance cultural diversity, humility, equity, and inclusion at all levels of our organization by hiring mental health peers, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, veterans, and all belief systems. This 24‑hour County‑owned Restorative Transformation Center (RTC) / Mental Health Rehabilitation Center (MHRC) serves people who have been identified as being Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) or who are otherwise court ordered to treatment at this level of care. Services are available for a maximum of 30 residential beds, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The 30 beds can be used for male and female clients interchangeably. A maximum of 20 beds are designated for IST consumers identified by the Superior Court, Riverside Sheriff's Office (RSO), or Riverside University Health System – Behavioral Health (RUHS‑BH) teams. Ten beds are designated for consumers needing residential services with a secondary focus on consumers under Laura’s Law/AOT, and other RUHS‑BH and Superior Court Diversion Programs. Shifts Available: Shift: Sun – Tuesday: 7 am – 3:30 pm Expected starting wage range: $33.53 – $41.39 (pay range adjusted for geographic location; starting pay commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements). Shift differentials for hourly staff: 6 % for PM Shift, 10 % for Overnight Shift. Weekend shift differentials: 5 % for Weekend AM Shift, 11 % for Weekend PM Shift, 15 % for Weekend Overnight Shift.
POSITION SUMMARY
The LVN/LPT Supervisor II implements and supervises assigned position(s) within the nursing department on their designated shift. Under general supervision, the supervisor provides program planning, development, review, and assessment of clinical and administrative activities; uses critical thinking and independent judgement to direct, coordinate, and supervise a multidisciplinary team; assigns direct‑report employees to client work according to client needs and the team’s skills and strengths. The supervisor provides recovery‑focused services related to safe and appropriate administration of medical treatment (including medications), as prescribed by the physician.QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
Graduation from an accredited LVN or LPT program and current licensure. Current CPR/BLS certificate. Two (2) years of LVN/LPT experience in a health care environment. One (1) year of supervisory experience; or completion of Telecare assigned Supervisory training within 12 months in lieu of supervisory experience. Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment. All opportunities contingent upon the successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the post‑offer physical examination, 2‑step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Previous experience with the population to be served and/or work in a similar program setting. Understanding of psychiatric illness and its treatment, and knowledge of psychotropic medication.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders. Provides functional and administrative supervision for assigned professional, para‑professional, support staff, nursing students, or interns. Exercises independent judgment and discretion to provide day‑to‑day supervision of designated staff members, including: Assigning staff to work with individual clients based on their needs and the staff members’ skill sets. Directing staff in the performance of their job duties. Training and coaching staff. Evaluating job performance. Overseeing the disciplinary process as needed for performance issues. Participating in the recruitment and selection of new staff members. Makes use of management practices that include empowerment of staff, clear and concise expectations regarding duties, and frequent feedback focusing on both positive and problematic aspects of work performance and other management practices consistent with Continuous Quality Improvement. Oversees and provides direct nursing care. Contingent upon program structure and needs, assumes charge or shift lead responsibility. Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with members served. Provides nursing care and assists in the welcoming, admissions, and discharge processes. Collects data relevant to the care of members served; develops and implements care plans. Demonstrates knowledge of crisis management and intervention. Transcribes physician orders accurately and in a timely manner. Administers medication and treatments to members served. Adheres to medication management policies and procedures. Coordinates and participates in counting medications and giving report at the beginning and end of each shift. Receives and presents shift‑change reports as assigned. Notifies the prescriber and nursing supervisor of any changes in behavior or condition. Documents the progress of members served toward their Recovery Plan goals. Attends and participates in community meetings and groups. Actively participates in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning meetings. Must assist with restraint of members served in the event of assaultive behavior and pass assault crisis/crisis prevention training. Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.SKILLS
Ability to review and implement Recovery/Treatment plans. Ability to administer oral and injectable medications. Ability to provide input by reporting observations and concerns and asking appropriate questions. Ability to implement crisis de‑escalation techniques.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The employee is occasionally required to sit, squat, kneel, twist, push, pull, lift, and carry items weighing 25 pounds or less, as well as to frequently walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform simple and power grasping. The position requires manual dexterity, repetition and dexterity as well as hazardous exposure (blood‑borne pathogens, hospital waste, chemical and infectious).
