Building Maintenance Worker, 202, Bridge Systems

Assists with general maintenance and cleaning for buildings and grounds. Performs semi‑skilled work to support facilities including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. Employees may be requested to perform job‑related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. Performs general building and grounds maintenance work; cleans, disinfects, and maintains restrooms; maintains equipment used to perform work. Paints walls and fixtures; moves chairs and tables to set‑up special group meetings and trainings. Assists in the maintenance of air‑conditioners and heating systems in accordance with accepted practices and procedures; performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs. Performs carpentry activities including painting and masonry work as needed. Will be required to drive City for City business use. Performs related work as required.
