Become part of our great team as a… Summary / Objective The Production Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role ensures that products are packaged according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), regulatory standards, and company procedures, while maintaining high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency. Moulding & Trimming: Operates manual and semi‑automatic compression moulding/trimming machines in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce moulded sheets of varied products from preform rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Preforms: Pre‑control on rubber compounds in accordance to productivity standards. Washing & Coating: Operates washer, washing lift, container washer, oven, oven lift, coater, and auxiliary machines to support the washing and coating process including in‑process checks in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. Cleanroom: Operates washing, packaging, vision inspection, steam sterilizer machines and other auxiliary equipment to support the washing, packaging, inspection, and sterilization processes including SAP interactions in accordance with SOP’s and WI’s to produce rubber stoppers in accordance to productivity standards. This 5th shift position is a weekend shift, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00 p.m. to 11:30 a.m. There will be a 1st shift training cycle for approximately four weeks. Essential Functions Work under the guidance of Supervisor or Crew Leader to perform and complete the assigned duties in a timely manner. Ensures that equipment are maintained in good and safe working condition and work area is clean, safe and organized. Monitor equipment performance and recommends improvements. Duly follows organizational and work specific instructions, attends applicable trainings and meetings. Fulfils tasks efficiently and in due course. Meets productivity standards (where defined). Can organize and perform work effectively. Abides by safety regulations at all times. Promotes safety standards at workplace and in the team. Identifies potential safety risks and reports them actively to line manager. Demonstrates initiative to exceed a common performance. Flexibly adopts changes in tasks, work place, or team. Works reliably, keeps agreements. Assumes responsibility for tasks entrusted. Is open, respectful, and helpful. Constructively contributes with own skills to problem solving in team. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent One month, in plant training – TQM, SPC, GMO, SOP’s Six months on the job training Ability to speak, read and write English in order to understand operating and other related procedures and to complete all position related documentation.
