As a Security Officer Access Control in Brookwood, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will manage access control, monitor entry and exit activity, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document access activity in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including exterior perimeters and key access points, to help identify security-related concerns and/or policy violations.
• Communicate with employees, contractors, and visitors regarding site access requirements, delivery procedures, and other security-related protocols in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
