QA Automation Engineer

: Skills and Experience You Will Need: GalaxE.Solutions, Inc. (Somerset, NJ) seeks QA Automation Engineer - Develop, test automation framework, that automates testing of Web applications and API using different technologies such as Selenium, JMeter, Cucumber. Modular test automation framework is developed adopting industry standard best practices, leveraging Java, Java Script, and related technologies. Create platform level automation for testing that is carried out before code deployment using Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber and Maven project. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Plan and execute test scenarios and underlying test scripts. These are based on Business / Technology requirements and design documentation. Plus, real-time business input. Execution of test cases in align with Test Plan and Test Strategy. Prepare test execution report and share with Project / Systems lead for onward review and submission. Execution of Regression Test Suites/ Scripts, working collaboratively with Business teams in UAT phase. Setup GxQuality™ and configure APIs for service certification. Integrate automation tests to run as part of the CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipeline using DevOps tools - Jenkins and AWS DevOps platform for quality engineering team. Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience in any occupation which includes the required experience/skills. Experience must include: 3 years of experience in software quality assurance; 3 years of experience in Selenium and JMeter test automation tools and Java and Java Script programming and scripting languages; 3 years of experience in designing hybrid automation frameworks using TestNG and Maven tools; 3 years of experience in working with browser testing tools including Firebug, Firebug Lite, IE Developer Toolbar and either Chrome or Safari Web Inspectors; 3 years of experience in creating and manipulating databases with Oracle and MySQL; 1 year of experience with Jenkins and AWS DevOps continuous integration tools; 1 year of experience in using GitHub as a version control platform; and 1 year of experience in testing micro services and kafka data streams. This is a hybrid position. May work from home within commuting distance to office and/or worksite location.
