Airzone’s Systems Integration Specialist (USA, Canada, Caribbean, Latam) About Airzone Airzone is a leading manufacturer of intelligent HVAC control and integration solutions designed to improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and system performance. With more than 28 years of innovation, Airzone specializes in connecting VRF, ductless, and inverter HVAC systems with Building Management Systems (BMS), hospitality platforms, smart thermostats, and home automation ecosystems. Airzone's OEM partners include Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Hitachi, LG, Fujitsu, Samsung, Lutron, and Verdant. Through solutions such as Aidoo Pro, Aidoo Zigbee, Aidoo Wi-Fi, and Airzone zoning systems, we enable seamless integration between HVAC equipment and platforms including BACnet, Modbus, APIs, GRMS, EMS, and leading home automation systems, such as Lutron and Control4. Following our expansion into North America in 2021 and Latin America in 2023, Airzone continues to experience rapid growth across the commercial, hospitality, and residential integration markets. Position Overview Airzone is seeking an experienced System Integration Specialist to serve as a technical expert for integration, controls, building automation, hospitality integrations, and smart home connectivity across the United States, Canada, Caribbean, and Latin America. This experienced technical, customer-facing role supports system design, integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, as well as training for Airzone's portfolio of HVAC control and integration solutions. The position works closely with HVAC contractors, system integrators, controls contractors, hospitality technology providers, consulting engineers, distributors, and OEM manufacturers to ensure successful deployment of Airzone solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of VRF and inverter HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), BACnet communications, and smart building technologies. This individual enjoys solving complex integration challenges, delivering technical training, and helping customers maximize the value of connected HVAC systems. Territory Coverage United States Canada Caribbean Latin America Travel Requirement: Approximately 70% Key Responsibilities Technical Integration & Field Support Provide technical support for HVAC controls, BMS integrations, and smart building applications Assist customers with system architecture, integration design, and project implementation Commission and troubleshoot Airzone solutions integrated with BACnet, Modbus, APIs, hospitality platforms, and home automation systems Support integration of VRF and inverter HVAC systems with Building Management Systems (BMS), Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), and smart thermostats Diagnose communication, networking, and interoperability issues between HVAC equipment and third-party control platforms Assist customers during pre-sales design reviews, installation, startup, commissioning, and post-installation support Coordinate with OEM manufacturers, controls contractors, and system integrators during project execution Support technical escalations and assist with technical support calls, emails, and troubleshooting activities when required Hospitality, BMS & Smart Building Solutions Serve as a subject matter expert for hospitality integrations, including EMS, GRMS, occupancy-based controls, and guest comfort solutions Support projects involving BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, Modbus, and API-based integrations Assist customers with energy optimization strategies through HVAC controls, scheduling, occupancy management, and centralized monitoring Collaborate with hospitality technology providers, controls contractors, and facility management teams to ensure successful deployments Provide technical guidance on integration best practices, network architecture, and interoperability requirements Training & Collaboration Deliver technical training for HVAC contractors, controls contractors, OEM partners, integrators... Develop and conduct in-person and virtual training programs focused on HVAC controls, BACnet integration, hospitality applications, and Airzone solutions Create technical presentations, application guides, and training materials Collaborate with Sales teams and Regional Sales Managers to support customer education and project development Stay current on industry standards, protocols, firmware updates, and emerging building automation technologies Provide field feedback to product management and engineering teams to improve products, documentation, and customer experience Project & Data Management Maintain detailed project records including integration status, commissioning activities, technical issues, and resolutions Document all customer interactions and project activities within CRM systems Track recurring technical challenges and identify opportunities for process improvements Contribute to technical documentation, application notes, troubleshooting guides, and best practices Experience Requirements & Qualifications 5+ years of experience in HVAC controls, building automation, system integration, or technical support Preferred experience with VRF, ductless, or inverter HVAC systems Proven experience commissioning and troubleshooting integrated control systems Hands-on experience with BACnet, Modbus, or similar building automation protocols Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), Guest Room Management Systems (GRMS), or smart building technologies Experience with home automation platforms such as Control4, Crestron, Savant, Lutron, or similar systems preferred Experience delivering technical training to customers and partners preferred Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of HVAC controls, networking fundamentals, and system integration concepts Ability to troubleshoot complex multi-vendor integration environments Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Strong presentation, training, and customer-facing communication skills High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail Additional Qualifications Spanish language proficiency preferred Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout assigned territories Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for employee and family 401(k) plan with company match Paid vacation and sick leave Professional development, technical certifications, and ongoing training opportunities Career growth within a rapidly expanding global technology company Si compartes nuestros valores y te gusta lo que hacemos, ¡queremos conocerte! #J-18808-Ljbffr Airzone Control
