Registered Nurse - Infusion

$2284.80/week –

Job Summary:

Provide specialized infusion nursing care to patients requiring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other intravenous treatments. Ensure safe administration of therapies while adhering to institutional protocols and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies including chemotherapy and immunotherapy following established procedures.

• Monitor patient responses throughout treatment, addressing any adverse reactions promptly.

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, medication administration, and patient progress in the EMR system.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous medications and infection control protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Educate patients on their treatments, potential side effects, and post-infusion care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in Michigan with compliance to state policies.

• Possess at least 1 year of infusion or oncology nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted.

• Certification in ONS chemotherapy and immunotherapy required; AHA BLS preferred.

• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic EMR system; previous Epic experience preferred.

• Ability to work 4×10 hour shifts, maintaining flexibility for unit needs.

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to respond swiftly to patient needs.
