Now, for those job details: Responsibilities Safety and compliance focus: Seek a Safety & Claims Specialist with strong communication skills to assist with accident/insurance claims, hours-of-service (HOS) regulations, and ensuring drivers maintain DOT requirements. This role involves conversations with drivers, insurance companies, and team members; effective and respectful communication is essential. Handle insurance claims for driver accidents/incidents (auto liability/physical damage): gather incident reports, collect pictures, coordinate with parties, compile paperwork, and liaise with insurance companies. Assist drivers with ELD (Electronic Logging Device) issues and HOS situations: answer questions, address violations, report, and troubleshoot ELD system problems. (Training provided if unfamiliar.) Driver Scorecard Administration: update and enter driver points into the scorecard system (maintenance and accidents/incidents); communicate with drivers about preventability and point assessments. DOT expirations: help maintain driver DOT cards, licenses, and related paperwork. Job Schedule Full-time position; Monday–Friday; 8:00am – 4:30pm. Location: Corporate Offices – 19336 N. 1425 East Rd., Hudson, IL 61748. Pay Scale – $20/hr to $31.25/hr (please reach out to hiring department for more questions). Life & disability insurance.
