Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Onsite | Mandatory call shifts required based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 patient care in an active operating room environment supporting a wide range of surgical specialties
• Assist with and support procedures including neurosurgery, urology, general surgery, colorectal, plastics, podiatry, ENT, and orthopedics
• Operate and assist with specialized surgical equipment including BrainLab, da Vinci robotic system, and surgical microscopes
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
• Adhere to hospital policies and guidelines for surgical services including dress code and scrub attire requirements
• Participate in mandatory call shifts, including weekend call (7:00 AM–7:00 PM or 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) and weekday call (3:00 PM–7:00 AM) as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of operating room nursing experience
• Ability to fulfill mandatory on-call requirements based on unit needs
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential or dual-role experience
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR system
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery platforms such as da Vinci
