Voyage-Ready Assistant Marine Engineer
Savage Services
Savage is seeking an Assistant Engineer based in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will manage the operation and maintenance of the vessel's engineering systems, assisting the Chief Engineer while ensuring crew safety. Responsibilities include performing inspections, troubleshooting systems, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Applicants must hold a USCG Merchant Mariner Credential, a valid medical certificate, and experience with engineroom operations is preferred.
