As a key member of the Fire Department, the Firefighter will handle fire suppression, prevention, inspection, rescue, and first responder operations. Our Firefighters make a difference in our citizens’ lives by engaging with them by protecting life and property from disaster situations, including house and building fires, and promote an environment of public safety within the department response area. Must have a valid Texas Commission of Fire Protection (TCFP) Structural Firefighter-Basic Certification Must have a valid Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) EMT-Basic Certification Note: Candidates are required to submit a resume and both certifications with their application.
