Environmental Support Specialist I Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high‑technology solutions for the semiconductor and microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose‑driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as an Environmental Support Specialist I or II. This position will be located in Rolla, MO. Summary The purpose of this position is to support environmental compliance activities related to manufacturing, customer support, and R&D operations. This will involve review and implementation of domestic and international environmental and customer requirements for each component of manufacturing and R&D formulations. Responsibilities – Environmental Support Specialist I Collect and verify formulation data for SDS preparation, including CAS numbers, concentration ranges, and known residual monomers under supervision. Support the Environmental team by uploading documents to regulatory databases and maintaining organized records. Support the Hazardous Waste team by collecting waste into appropriate locations. Support the Hazardous Waste team by generating compliance reports. Monitor and update supplier SDSs in SDS database. Create EU‑compliant labels for IMEC weekly shipments. Support external lab testing of materials. Track and assist in customer environmental requests; elevate technical questions as needed. Responsibilities – Environmental Support Specialist II Same duties as Environmental Support Specialist I. Independently manage SDS data collection and verification for routine products, including detailed review of chemical formulation, % monomer residuals, and proper CAS assignments. Coordinate with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Stewardship to ensure accurate depiction of product chemistry and hazards in SDS documents. Maintain accurate logs of customer environmental information requests and provide data‑driven responses. Assist in coordinating translation of SDSs into multiple languages for global markets; maintain language version control logs. Monitor inboxes and request queues to ensure timely processing of incoming regulatory requests. Manage external lab testing requests for RoHS, VOC, etc. Support Label team with order requests (generic relabels, labels for China orders). Assist in hazardous waste reports and NORWA updates. Check wastewater discharge requirements for non‑Rolla locations. Complete wastewater questionnaire and application. Education & Credentials High school diploma or equivalent; or Associate’s degree in environmental science, chemistry, or related field; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
