Now Offering $10,000 Sign On Bonus + 401K + Mileage Reimbursement Position Summary As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You’ll play a vital role in enhancing quality of life through individualized, evidence-based care and close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapy for communication disorders, cognitive impairments, and dysphagia Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and therapy team members to ensure coordinated care Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safe swallowing Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards Participate in care planning meetings and quality improvement initiatives Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New Mexico SLP license (or eligibility) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or Clinical Fellowship (CF) welcome Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in SNF or long-term care preferred, but not required Why Join Cedar Ridge?
