Mirror Image Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team! Mirror Image Dental is a private practice located on the NE corner of Cactus and Tatum. Check out our website and Instagram page for an inside look into what could be your new office / dental home!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide patient-care services
• Escort patients to operatories
• Verify all medical and dental history, as well as write chart notes
• Take X-rays
• Input treatment plan when needed
• Educate patients regarding their oral health, link of oral health to overall systemic health, and goals of treatment. 

Proficiency in the following modalities needed:
-Prophy, SRP, irrigation, laser, arestin application, etc.

Additional Requirements and Preferences:

• High school diploma and a graduate of accredited Hygiene program with state accreditation based on certifying exam
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment
• Previous clinical experience
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

At Mirror Image Dental, our goal is to treat the dental needs of our community. We also hope to establish careers for our teammates, not just "jobs." Initially, there will be an hourly rate between $45-60. Because this is a startup, things will likely be slow at first. The position will start as part time, with the ability to move up to full time once the schedule fills a bit more. However, our clinic is in a high profile location, and we expect things to pick up quick! As patient flow increases and becomes more stable, we will move toward a production model for income. However, we want to be 100% clear...this IS NOT a corporate production model to try to sell dentistry to patients. Our treatment is for those with true dental needs. This production based model usually works out to hygienists taking home closer to $75/hour. We can certainly discuss more at an interview. Furthermore, Dr. Shane and Shawn Maule want to reward employees who seek to learn more and better educate and treat our patients. Raises can be expected as teammates take on more tasks and responsibilities.
