Senior Scientist, Non-Viral Delivery Attribute Sciences

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Scientist to develop attribute sciences capabilities for non-viral lipid nanoparticle delivery systems. The role combines cell biology, delivery science, and characterization to establish mechanistic understanding that informs next-generation targeted therapeutic development.
Responsibilities
- Advance attribute sciences frameworks and characterization capabilities for non-viral delivery product platforms
- Develop biologically relevant cellular characterization strategies using primary and patient-derived cell systems
- Lead characterization studies supporting formulation changes, comparability assessments, and technical investigations
- Identify and expand internal and external characterization capabilities including emerging technologies
- Mentor junior scientists and communicate scientific findings to influence program decisions across teams
Requirements
- PhD in cell biology, molecular biology, immunology, or related life sciences discipline with 2+ years industry experience
- Expertise in cell-based assay development and cellular characterization including flow cytometry and primary cell systems
- Experience with complex drug products, biologics, or nanoparticle delivery systems
- Demonstrated ability to establish attribute-performance relationships through analytical and cellular characterization
- Proficiency in high-throughput or automated experimental approaches
- Strong scientific communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
Compensation: $142,220 - $172,340
