This OpportunityWSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager for our Columbia, MD office. Be involved in projects with our Program and Construction Management Team in Charles County, MD and a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.Your ImpactJob ResponsibilitiesManage design consultants and construction contractor’s projects for water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, water/wastewater treatment plants and pumping stations.Coordinate Project designers and construction managers’ activities.Manage capital improvement projects including project schedule, budget, and deliverables.Permit coordination.Provide technical presentations to project teams and other stakeholders.Who You AreMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field or equivalent experience5-7 years of experience in project/construction management of water treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities Strong oral and written skillsFamiliarity with the practices and principles of Design and ConstructionExercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge of water treatment facilities, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and treatment facilities systems, construction processes, and project lifecycle management.Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate both countywide programs and specific projects. Data and information systems management experienceExperience in a web-based document management system such as e-Builder, Unifier and CM-14Ability to support scheduling for a program of multiple projects, including monitoring costs.EIT with desire to achieve PE.Ability to lead and conduct large meetings and work in a client settingWSP Benefits:WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career.
