Your responsibilities will include:Operate a Class A commercial motor vehicle safely and professionallyTransport intermodal freight between rail stations, warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locationsInspect your truck and equipment before, during, and after tripsVerify that cargo is properly secured and transported safelyMaintain accurate driving, service, and inspection recordsCommunicate with dispatch regarding routes, delivery status, delays, and other issuesCommunicate professionally with customers, warehouse personnel, and rail facility personnelReport accidents, incidents, equipment problems, and other safety concerns promptlyFollow all federal, state, and local transportation regulationsMaintain a professional and dependable approach to every delivery What We're Looking ForRequired Valid Class A CDL4+ years of truck driving experience4+ years of intermodal freight experienceStrong knowledge of applicable commercial truck driving regulationsClean recent driving record with no recent serious moving violationsAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong reliability and punctualityAbility to perform the physical requirements of the position, including loading and unloading cargo when requiredPreferred Experience working directly with rail terminals and intermodal facilitiesExperience communicating with dispatch and warehouse operationsFamiliarity with electronic logging and vehicle inspection systemsSafety Comes First You'll be responsible for operating company equipment safely and complying with all applicable transportation regulations.
