Job Description:

This role involves:

• Driving acquisition in a bank location by engaging clients through walk-in opportunities, lead management, and outbound outreach, building meaningful connections that help clients achieve their financial goals
• Engaging clients with curiosity, establishing purpose for the interaction, and conducting meaningful, goals-based discovery to uncover client needs and priorities
• Applying foundational banking knowledge to interpret client needs and validate understanding. Clearly explains relevant options, including features, benefits, and potential risks, using simple and transparent language to help clients make informed decisions aligned to their financial goals
• Delivering personalized solutions and next best actions, connecting clients to appropriate products, services, or partners
• Executing with accuracy and discipline, establishing clear next steps and follow-up, and reinforcing the client relationship to support long-term financial progress
• Serving as a trusted client advocate by providing ongoing guidance, educating clients on TD products, services, and digital capabilities to simplify everyday banking and improve financial wellness
• Building and strengthening client relationships through consistent, personalized interactions that reflect a client-first approach
• Engaging clients on mortgage products, accepting mortgage inquiries, referring clients for mortgage solutions, or other residential lending activities
• Adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate documentation, strong risk awareness, and protection of the client and the Bank

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 1+ years of experience engaging with clients in a service, sales, or relationship building environment
• Teller or cash-handling experience in a financial institution preferred
• Experience educating clients on products and services in a consultative manner
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills in client interactions
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar workplace technologies
• Ability to complete required job-related training upon hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain active registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required for the role
• Notary License (or ability to obtain) preferred

• Serves as the primary point of accountability for client concerns, resolving issues end-to-end where possible and ensuring timely escalation when required
• Drives client acquisition, retention, and relationship growth for the bank location by proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and improve client outcomes
• Applies sound judgment to balance client needs with risk and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate capture of client information and alignment to policies

Shareholder Accountabilities:

• Maintains compliance when completing operational activities in accordance with company guidelines and regulations to minimize risk and protect the client
• Acts as a trusted first point of contact in safeguarding the integrity of the client relationship by operating within compliance of AML laws and regulatory requirements, by accurately verifying client identification, maintaining data integrity, and following established authentication and documentation standards
• Identifies potential discrepancies, material changes or risk indicators and escalates appropriately in accordance with policy and procedure
• Acts in accordance with TD's code of conduct and ethical standards in every decision
• Protects TD's clients, colleagues and the Bank - Do the right thing -own it, raise it, know it

• Must be eligible for employment with a covered financial institution under the standards established by Regulation Z of the Truth in Lending Act, 12 CFR Part 1026.36
• Must be eligible for registration as a registered mortgage loan originator with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) in accordance with the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (SAFE Act), 12 U.S.C. 5102 et seq., and its implementing regulations, 12 CFR Part 1007
• Satisfactory results on a criminal background check and a credit report check, and statements/certification from job applicant regarding administrative, civil, and/or criminal findings by any government agency/authority, are required by federal law for this position
