FIELD SERVICE MANAGER Multi-Family- Midwest/Indiana

Summary The Field Services Manager at Allied Interior Solutions is the first point of contact, responsible for coordinating all aspects of the installation of multi-family cabinetry projects. The primary duties include managing and submitting sub-contractor invoices and serving as a liaison between the client and AIS. Geographic Coverage This candidate will be working in the Midwest area covering Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kentucky, and other locations as needed. Essential Functions Coordinating delivery and installation with clients. Approve and submit subcontractor invoices/draws for payment. Maintain competent installers and ensure paperwork is complete and timely. Anticipate and resolve client issues. Attend client-mandated meetings as required. Maintain strong relationships with the client and all departments in AIS. Commit to being highly visible on job sites. Qualifications Education Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred Education: None. Experience Required Experience: Three Years Construction Experience. Preferred Experience: At least One Year Experience in Construction Management. Essential Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge Understanding of cabinetry manufacturing processes, materials, quality control, costs, and related techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Understanding financial reports, budgeting, and adjusting to keep the company profitable. Understanding and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills Ability to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate operations in a manufacturing setting. Excellent customer service skills for dealing with client inquiries and complaints. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff and management. Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems in the manufacturing and delivery process. Ability to manage one’s own time and the time of others effectively. Ability to negotiate with suppliers and clients to meet company objectives. Basic computer skills such as MS Office Suite. Abilities Ability to self-motivate and work without immediate supervision. Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide a positive customer experience. Ability to adjust to meet on-time delivery goals. Ability to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Work Environment Field environment with exposure to construction sites and related hazards. Physical Demands Manual dexterity to operate standard office peripherals. Ability to sit for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather. Ability to work at unfinished construction sites. Ability to drive for long periods within a designated service area. Travel Travel Required: Constant travel to visit multiple work sites in a designated service area. This position covers the Midwest area: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
