District Business Develop Manager

Job Summary Responsible for managing all business development activities, staff & sales goals for a specific region/market. This position will be a part of our Transportation Group supporting our Northwest Region. Key Responsibilities Coordinates and leads the team (operations, management, estimating, scheduling, BIM, etc.) with strategy discussions, pre-win activities, and content development. Develops the annual tactical plan that identifies market conditions, economic data, new markets, emerging trends and opportunities to establish realistic sales goals and short and long-term strategic plans for growth. Establishes, communicates & monitors performance expectations related to business development activities. Identifies Sundt's key differentiators and presents value propositions through design or constructability improvements. Ownership of the entire BO process including: new and existing client relationship development, lead identification and development, opportunity assessment and prioritization, go vs no-go process, and leading pursuits. Participates in industry-related events and remains an active member of critical organizations to enhance the visibility of Sundt. Responsible for managing accurate data on leads, opportunities, and pursuits in the Cosential CRM system and other tools to support business development strategies for the company. Responsible for the development of pre-win strategies, all RFQ/RFP responses, and drafting text and creating graphical content for proposals, reports, presentations, etc. Responsible for the personal development of all direct reports through the timely review and submission of the performance review process. Serves as a member of Profit Center Leadership with shared responsibility for setting and meeting group strategic goals and personnel development. Minimum Job Requirements Excellent organizational skills and effective verbal and written communication skills are essential. Four-year business or marketing degree or equivalent combinations of training and experience in marketing/business. Minimum of ten (10) years in business development within the construction industry. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs. Physical Requirements May stoop, kneel, or bend on an occasional basis. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis. Will interact with people and technology frequently during a shift/work day. Will lift, push or pull objects on an occasional basis. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day. Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors. Compensation Salary is commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and overall job-related experience. Pay Range $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Salary is provided pursuant to the Washington Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules for positions located in Washington. Safety Level: Non-Safety Sensitive.
