Job Summary:

Shema Kolainu-Hear Our Voices (SKHOV) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our Early Intervention team in Bronx, NY. As a Speech Therapist with SKHOV, you will have the opportunity to work with children aged 0-3, targeting developmental milestones in communication, play, and daily routines. Our mission is to empower individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential for independence, productivity, and inclusion in the community.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to children aged 0-3, focusing on developmental milestones in communication, play, and daily routines

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language delays and disorders

• Utilize evidence-based practices and strategies to address speech and language deficits

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment plans

• Collaborate with other members of the Early Intervention team to ensure comprehensive care

• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech therapy

Requirements:

• Salary: $60–$70 per session

• Sessions typically 30 minutes each.

• Job Type: Per Diem

• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 years

• Level of Education: Master's degree

• Additional Requirements: Certified with NYS
