Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Come live, work and play in beautiful Colorado! We are an independent, physician owned, democratic group, looking for experienced APPs to join us in the ED. Our APPs work alongside our physicians seeing all acuity levels and staff 4 facilities in and around Colorado Springs, Colorado. About the Role We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to deliver high‑quality emergency care in collaboration with supervising physicians. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat, and educate patients in a fast‑paced ED environment. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and manage acute conditions. Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics. Conduct ED procedures (suturing, wound care, injections, I&D, splinting/casting). Document patient encounters promptly and accurately in the EHR. Escalate high‑risk or complex cases to supervising physicians. Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program (NP or PA). Unrestricted Colorado APP license. National board certification (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA depending on APP type). DEA registration. ED or acute care experience preferred. Compensation & Benefits Benefits: Health, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, paid medical leave, CME allowance, and professional liability coverage. Other compensation: Shift differentials for nights/weekends/holidays (as applicable). Work Environment Fast‑paced emergency department requiring frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing hands‑on procedures.
