Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity

HealthYes Staffing Network is conducting a confidential search for an Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established multispecialty medical group serving patients across multiple New York City locations.

This opportunity offers a $400,000 annual base salary, no required call, an established primary-care referral network, and additional collection-based earning potential. Hospital procedures may be incorporated according to the physician's clinical interests, practice requirements, and approved privileges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal injuries, disorders, and chronic orthopedic conditions
• Develop appropriate surgical and nonsurgical treatment plans
• Provide orthopedic consultations and follow-up care
• Perform office-based procedures within the physician's training and privileges
• Perform hospital procedures based on clinical scope and practice requirements
• Review and interpret imaging and other diagnostic findings
• Collaborate with the group's primary-care physicians and specialty providers
• Coordinate referrals, procedures, and postoperative care
• Rotate among assigned New York City practice locations
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Board certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Eligible for applicable hospital credentialing and clinical privileges
• Comfortable practicing across multiple New York City locations
• Strong surgical judgment, communication, and patient-care skills
• English proficiency required
• Chinese-language ability preferred but not required
• An established personal patient base is welcomed but not required

Compensation

• $400,000 annual base salary
• Additional compensation based on eligible office and hospital procedure collections
• Physicians bringing independently sourced patients may be considered for a separate percentage-of-collections arrangement
• Final incentive terms will depend on the physician's procedure mix, scheduling preferences, patient sources, and written compensation agreement
