Billing Clerk

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Billing Clerk to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Perform daily billing and cash application activities to ensure accurate recording of customer payments. Prepare and process invoices while maintaining organized documentation and records. Reconcile cash receipts from multiple sources and investigate any discrepancies. Communicate with internal teams to resolve customer account issues including disputes and payment differences. Support month end activities by processing adjustments and preparing accounts receivable statements. Requirements 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or cash application roles. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex billing situations. Use Excel at a moderate level to support data tracking and reconciliation tasks. Communicate clearly with internal departments to resolve issues efficiently. Manage multiple priorities in a structured environment while maintaining accuracy. Qualifications Maintain accurate records and support compliance with internal policies and controls. Apply problem solving skills to investigate discrepancies and resolve payment issues. Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams in a shared services environment. Demonstrate organization reliability and consistent follow through on assigned tasks.
