Job Summary CNA (7a-3p, Float Pool)
- Provide direct care and assistance to residents with daily living activities (bathing, hygiene, dressing, etc.)
- Perform health-related tasks such as taking and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting in emergencies.
- Transport residents to appointments and assist as needed.
- Work primarily in adult psychiatric/mental health facility settings.
- Utilize strong de-escalation skills to manage challenging behaviors.
- Communicate effectively and follow both written and oral instructions.
- Maintain accurate observations, records, and reports.
- Develop and maintain constructive, cooperative working relationships.
- Work in a float pool with flexible/open shift availability, including holidays if required.
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures.
- Meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Valid Montana CNA certification.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a psychiatric facility or mental health setting.
- 1 2 years of travel CNA experience.
- If background is in geriatric care, must have minimum 5 years' experience.
- If background is in emergency/urgent care, must have minimum 4 years' experience.
- CPI certification highly desired.
- BLS certification required.t.
