Description Registered Nurses in the Hemodialysis department deliver outstanding, compassionate care to patients. Status: Pool - as needed Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM On Call: No Always in person Benefits Medical benefits (Health) 401(k) match and additional yearly contributions Requirements RN (Registered Nurse) License Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing 18-month experience in Dialysis in an Acute Care setting BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association ACLS certification with the American Heart Association Responsibilities Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients Coordinate and document appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge Demonstrate high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience, simplifying medical terminology for the patient Maintain professional accountability and pursue development opportunities Equal Opportunity Employer: Veterans/Disabled #J-18808-Ljbffr
