EEG Technician - Travel Assignment

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 3x12 Variable Shifts

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of EEG Technician experience
Current BLS Certification required
Current REEGT Certification required
First-time travelers accepted
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
Experience with acute care hospital settings preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform routine, continuous, and specialized EEG procedures according to established protocols
Monitor and record brain activity for diagnostic purposes
Prepare patients and equipment for EEG testing
Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of test results
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams regarding patient care and diagnostic findings
Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety standards

Additional Details:

Shared on-call responsibilities, including approximately one weekend per month
No floating required outside the designated scope of practice
Guaranteed 60 hours per two-week pay period

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a trauma or acute care hospital environment
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills
