Location: Lancaster, SC
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
Position: 1st Shift | Full-Time

Position Overview


We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Lancaster, SC. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with computers, highly organized, and able to learn new software and processes quickly.


The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with invoicing, and keeping the company's ERP system organized and up to date. While the position has an administrative and computer-focused component, the ideal candidate must also be comfortable assisting with hands-on warehouse activities when needed.


Training will be provided on company-specific processes and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and document incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and ensure inventory records remain current.
• Enter and update information within the company's ERP system .
• Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets and other shipping and inventory documentation.
• Process invoices for products as they are received and shipped.
• Verify quantities, shipping information, and product details for accuracy.
• Wrap skids, count products, and box and package orders for shipment.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts, or participate in training to become certified.
• Maintain an organized shipping and receiving area.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, drivers, and other departments.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory, or a related field preferred .
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, or shipping software is a plus.
• Comfortable creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
• Willingness to perform both administrative and physical warehouse duties.
• Previous forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is acceptable .
• Ability to lift, move, and package materials as required.
