Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule: 12 hours, Night Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM, Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday

Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

2 recent years of Labor and Delivery RN experience and OR circulator experience
Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
Must pass telemetry test on Day 1 with 85% or higher
Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred
EPIC experience required
Previous travel experience required
Required Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) must not expire during the assignment
Evidence of completing Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring course, preferably AWHONN
Preferred: Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
Assist in surgical procedures as an OR circulator when required
Educate patients and families on care procedures and postpartum recovery
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in patient care
