The Must-Haves Before You Clock In

High school diploma or GED required; machining certification a plus. 3+ years of experience with manual machines, CNC mills, lathes, or similar equipment (Haas, Mazak, Okuma a plus). Knows the math, the tools, and the tolerances that make good parts great. Dependable, safe, and ready to hustle. Proficiency in reading blueprints. Comfortable lifting materials and working on your feet.

The Day to Day

Produce parts using manual machining centers. Execute sketches or verbal instructions with precision. Produce prototype, short-run, or first article products. Program the machine as required. Design appropriate tooling and fixturing. Inspect and verify produced parts. De-burr parts and submit them as completed when necessary.
