Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 12 months Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: CPR, CPI training within 30 days of hire Must-Have Skills/Experience: Recognize mental health as an illness Description: Provide care to patients in a behavioral health setting. Manage and monitor patient safety and well-being. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Utilize electronic health records for documentation. Participate in patient assessments and treatment planning. Respond to patient needs with compassion and professionalism. Demonstrate ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Engage with patients ages 18-99, focusing on mental health issues. Maintain a positive and proactive approach during down times. Support patients experiencing detox, depression, and psychosis. Foster a therapeutic environment while managing patient interactions. Be adaptable to float among various units as needed. Adhere to the established dress code and professional standards.
