In this role, you will assist Sheet Metal Mechanics with the installation, fabrication, assembly, and repair of sheet metal products and HVAC duct systems for commercial and industrial projects. Load, unload, transport, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on job sites. Measure, cut, and prepare sheet metal materials under supervision. Assist with installing ductwork, hangers, supports, dampers, and related HVAC components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with duct sealing, insulation, and system support installation. Help maintain proper alignment and quality of installed duct systems. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and job site requirements. Work closely with mechanics, foremen, and other trades to support project completion.
