Ready to take the wheel of our financial future? We're looking for a dynamic Controller to lead our accounting operations and drive strategic growth! In this pivotal role, you'll steer everything from weekly cash forecasting and month-end closing to launching our annual 5-year business plan.

• Master the Numbers: Oversee internal controls, quarterly audits, and partner with the DKM tax team.
• Shape Strategy: Advise leadership on key financial objectives and risk mitigation.

salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year

Responsibilities

- Determine depreciation rates to apply to capitalized items, and advise management on actions
regarding the purchase, lease, or disposal of such items.
- Prepare financial information so that DKM tax department can complete tax returns.
- Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position
forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
- Supervise employees performing financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and
budgeting duties.
- Delegate authority for the receipt, disbursement, banking, protection, and custody of funds
- Maintain current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, federal and state policies
and directives, and current accounting standards.
- Conduct or coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions to ensure
compliance with state and federal requirements and statutes.

- Authorize disbursements in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and other financial staff
- Coordinate and direct the financial planning and budgeting activities of the organization.
- Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget
administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
- Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify
development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
