Description Occupational Therapist Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora CO Department: OT Rehab Unit Work Schedule: PRN, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Travel among Aurora and Broomfield facilities is required. Summary: Evaluates and treats patient populations for therapy needs. Responsibilities: Performs and documents initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition. Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family according to their capabilities and desires. Provides education to the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits and information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs. Plans and/or assists with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment setting. Performs all underlying duties of the job including but not limited to supervising support personnel according to established licensing laws, state regulations and practice standards. Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. Preferred: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Current licensure with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Occupational Therapy. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
