Department: MedSurg
*Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred*
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**
**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract


- Beds: 28
- Ratios: Days: 1:4 / Nights: 1:5
- Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Yes- 1:10
- Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10
- Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / Scheduler will do schedule - no block scheduling
- Weekend Requirement: Varies per need
- Holiday Requirement: Varies per need
- Floating Requirements: may float to ER to sit with a 1:1
- Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: Navy Blue
- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and 1-12 hour shift on the floor
- Additional Notes: Travelers are treated like family, really incorporated in to the culture

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
