Job Title: Insurance Defense Paralegal Construction

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Insurance Defense Paralegal Construction to join our client to support litigation efforts tied to construction related insurance matters. This role focuses on keeping cases organized, advancing deadlines, and assisting attorneys with essential legal tasks across multiple jurisdictions. The position offers a blend of independent work and collaboration within a structured legal environment. This is a hybrid, permanent opportunity based in Philadelphia, PA or Marlton, NJ.

Compensation:
$65,000 per year

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, standard business hours with a requirement of 120 billable hours per month

Key Responsibilities of the Insurance Defense Paralegal Construction:
• Coordinate all aspects of case management including maintaining files, tracking deadlines, and supporting filings across PA, NJ, and NY courts
• Prepare and organize legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence to support ongoing litigation matters
• Conduct research and gather case related information to assist attorneys in building strong legal strategies
• Manage billing entries and ensure accurate tracking of time in alignment with firm expectations
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel to ensure smooth progression of cases and timely completion of tasks

Qualifications and Skills for the Insurance Defense Paralegal Construction:
• At least three years of relevant litigation experience within insurance defense, personal injury, or similar practice areas
• Hands on experience with NJ and NY e filing systems is required, with PA court exposure considered a plus
• Strong ability to manage a large caseload with excellent organization, prioritization, and analytical thinking skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and contribute within a team setting
• Proficiency with legal technology, including case management systems and digital dictation tools, is preferred
