Summary of position:

A food runners' responsibility is to make sure all food items that leave the kitchen are ready and prepared per Green Lantern

standards as well as adhering to the food and safety standards. Food runners organize and time all food items leaving the

kitchen whether it be carried out or dine it. Food runners are to be support for the service staff as well.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Know the menu and be able to answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Know the floor plan & table numbers.
• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests in a timely matter.
• Pre-bus guest tables & provide side item & non-alcoholic drink refills upon customer request.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers & co-workers as situations arise.
• Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Execute any duty or task assigned by General Manager/Owner or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications:
• Be able to communicate clearly, follow directions and have a positive attitude.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 30 pounds.
