Job Title: Pathologists Assistant/Pathology Technician Profession: Laboratory Specialty: Pathology Assistant Duration: 15 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: License not required Certifications: Pathologists Assistant Certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP): PA (ASCP) must be in hand at time of submission. Must-Have: Must have state or national certification and/or license Must have Level 1 Trauma experience Description: The position requires a Pathologists Assistant/Pathology Technician responsible for assisting with pathology-related tasks. Candidates must hold the Pathologists Assistant Certification through the ASCP at the time of application. Clinical skills and knowledge specific to pathology are essential for successful candidates. Prior experience in a laboratory setting is preferred. Candidates should be prepared for a variety of tasks related to patient diagnoses and special procedures. Flexibility in scheduling and availability for weekend shifts may be required. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical. Interdisciplinary teamwork and communication skills will be crucial for this role. Travel experience is beneficial but not required.
