Your role goes beyond instruction you will cultivate pilot confidence and technical mastery through simulator sessions, pre- and post-flight briefings, and a commitment to training excellence./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliDeliver flight simulator and ground school instruction for assigned aircraft types, supporting type ratings, certificates, internal training, and pilot qualifications./liliConduct thorough and professional pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in alignment with CAE standards./liliServe as a subject matter expert (SME) and lead clients through their training programs./liliComplete training records, recommend remedial training when needed, and track instructional qualifications and activity./liliSupport the development of curricula and courseware as an SME when required./liliAfter approximately 1.5+ years (subject to business needs), qualify as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman./liliMaintain professionalism and create a welcoming, successful learning environment./liliCommunicate effectively across all levels, tailoring training methods to a diverse customer base./liliEnsure accurate and timely documentation aligned with CAE and FAA requirements./liliMeet physical demands, including:/liulliFrequent climbing of ladders, stairs, ramps, or scaffolding./liliOccasional work in confined spaces./liliProlonged standing or sitting./liliOccasional movement to complete tasks./liliLifting or adjusting objects up to 20 lbs./li/ul/ulh2Minimum Qualifications/h2ulliMust hold (or meet qualifications to receive) an unrestricted ATP certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC Type Rating./liliStrong passion for teaching with effective communication skills./liliBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet-based applications)./liliMust participate in CAEs DOT Drug Alcohol testing program./liliMust be authorized to live/work in the United States./liliAbility to meet all physical requirements of the role./li/ulh2Preferred Qualifications/h2ulliExperience flying single pilot and or business aircraft./liliDemonstrated ability to deliver tailored instruction to diverse learners./liliStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality training delivery./liliPrevious experience developing or contributing to training curricula/courseware./li/ulh2Benefits/h2ulliFlexible vacation policy and schedule./liliPaid holidays structured so employees are off between December 25 and January 1./liliOpportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and innovative training environments./liliFreedom to provide customized training (not a scripted program)./liliAbility to remain active in the cockpit while staying close to home./liliStrong professional growth through collaboration with other pilots./li/ulh2E-Verify/h2pAs a Federal Contractor, CAE participates in the E-Verify Program to confirm employment eligibility in the United States.
