Overview Salary: $85,000 - $130,000 per year. This individual will partner with the General Manager to provide leadership in all aspects of the store, including physical, financial, and people resources in the deployment of the business plan. They will provide a work environment that will optimize the profitability of the business, the personal growth of employees and the satisfaction of customers. Responsibilities Lead the process of defining and communicating the company\'s core values and vision. Demonstrate leadership in all aspects of the store operations. Lead the development and deployment of a comprehensive strategic business plan aligned with financial and operational objectives; including annual store benchmarks. Utilize company manuals and guidelines to administer parts department policy and process. Manage the process for ordering, distribution, and receipting of parts. Oversee accurate recording of parts transactions, including lost sales. Partner with Central Parts Ordering to maintain stocking levels that meet or exceed customer expectations. Oversee the monthly cycle counting process and adjust inventory with zero tolerance controls. Maintain the retail sales floor and displays to present a professional store image. Review monthly receivables with the General/Store Manager; establish and monitor collection plans. Create and monitor annual parts department goals and budgets aligned with financial objectives. Manage the parts department by regional benchmarks; identify variances and take corrective action. Understand and communicate the quarterly Profit-Sharing program to employees. Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures within the store. Coordinate and delegate activities through store management; coach and mentor store employees regularly. Ensure customer satisfaction by collaborating with all departments to meet current and future customer expectations and resolve concerns. Foster an engaged work environment and accountability, open communication, and teamwork. Lead activities to ensure a positive customer experience and long-term relationships with customers/partners. Maintain the company/location reputation and image consistent with core values and stakeholder relationships. Manage evaluation, allocation, and management of resources and administer hiring, development/training, and performance management of staff. Ensure sound, safe business practices and continuous improvement to ethically achieve business goals. Follow safety rules and company policies; complete assigned duties professionally and efficiently. Proactively participate in available company-sponsored training to develop knowledge and skills. Maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, and support resources, with a commitment to teamwork and customer service. Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner. Job Requirements Proven business and people management experience. Operational expertise in sales, parts, and service. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of agricultural, construction, or Vermeer dealership business operations. College degree preferred.
