Patient Care Technician Full Time Days

SCHEDULE: Full-time, 36 hours 7am-7:30pm Rotating weekends and holidays Wesson 3 – Renal/Acute Dialysis/Medical Surgical Unit – Telemetry 24-bed unit with 12 telemetry monitors serving adult patients (22–100+) Cares for renal/dialysis, sepsis, cellulitis, behavioral health, GI bleed, kidney transplant, syncope, and respiratory diagnoses Collaborative environment supporting a diverse and medically complex population RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health, Patient Care Technicians (PCT) play a hands-on role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care alongside our nursing team. Under the supervision of an RN, you'll assist with direct patient care, including hygiene, mobility, and vital sign monitoring. PCT’s perform a range of clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, specimen collection, and Point of Care testing. This role also includes assisting with procedures, patient transport, equipment management, and supporting emergency response protocols. QUALIFICATIONS: This position is part of a career ladder and hiring level determined by Recruitment.
