Additional Details:

• Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week
• Weekdays
• Schedule will be during the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for performing various therapy treatments and documentation under direction of a Licensed Occupational Therapist within the home setting for home care clients with disease/disability on an intermittent basis in accordance with the plan of care.

• Graduate of Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
• Current license to practice in Oklahoma
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Current CPR certification
• Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderately heavy material, supplies or patients (up to or > 100 lbs.) for most of the shift.
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavyweight materials (over 100 lbs.) occasionally.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout the work schedule, with some bending and stooping.
• Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
• Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare reports and read written materials.
• Ability to work with confused and aggressive patients
• Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and complete the necessary work schedule
• Able to work in latex-burdened environment
