Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date is 09/28/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,716 to $2,810. Responsibilities
- Plan and provide nursing care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
- Respond to emergencies and assume circulating duties for C-sections as needed.
- Assess patient and family needs, coordinate care, and implement care plans with the patient-centered approach.
- Supervise and delegate care tasks to ancillary personnel within scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the health care team to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality maternal-newborn care.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team to support informed decision-making.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Current (or eligible) obstetric/L&D nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts in a hospital setting
- Basic life support (BLS) certification at minimum; additional obstetric/anesthesia support certifications as applicable
- Eligibility to work in the United States for a travel assignment
- Commitment to credentialing and orientation processes as part of onboarding
