Specialist Quality Assurance

Job Title: Specialist, Quality Assurance – Abbott Vascular Division (Westford, MA). Overview This onsite position supports engineering and manufacturing by implementing corrective and preventive actions and providing technical assistance to improve processes. Main Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Perform returned goods analysis and enter data for post‑market surveillance. Assist engineers in analyzing data and identifying manufacturing issues and trends. Train operators on basic processes and engineering changes. Determine root cause of manufacturing issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Disposition of returned material using quality tools and knowledge of manufacturing practices. Support process development during new product introduction by inputting traceability, inspection requirements, statistical process control criteria, manufacturing instructions, training sheets, and certifications. Collect, compile, measure, organize, record data and write procedures for qualification and validation studies and reports. Required Education High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Required Experience 2+ years of related work experience. Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting manufacture of Medical Devices (e.g., cGMPs, CFRs). Industry/supervisory experience and direct exposure to Operations preferred. Broad knowledge of general technical concepts, product fundamentals, and ability to resolve moderately complex problems. Experience working in a quality system environment. Compensation Base pay range: $20.25 – $40.55 per hour. Work Details Location: 4 Robbins Road, Westford, MA; Shift: Standard; Travel: 5% of the time.
