Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist, OR - CVOR Tech in Carbondale, Illinois. Start date: 06/22/2026. This travel temporary assignment runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: Days. Setting: hospital environment. Weekly pay: $1,889–$2,048.

Responsibilities
- Provide OR coverage as CVOR tech, including scrubbing and circulating for ortho, neuro, robotic, vascular, general, urology, and gyne procedures.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with instrument handling, and set up robotic systems and CVOR equipment as needed.
- Assist with patient positioning, instrumentation management, specimen handling, and ensuring supply availability and infection control.
- Monitor intraoperative imaging and cardiovascular instrumentation, coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams for smooth case flow.
- Adhere to on-call requirements and 4/10 scheduling, with no block schedule guaranteed.

Requirements
- Experience across ortho, neuro, robotic, vascular, general, urology, and gyne procedures in an OR CVOR environment.
- Ability to work days in a hospital setting with on-call responsibilities as required.
- Comfortable with a 4/10 schedule and variable case load.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced surgical environment and follow perioperative standards.
