Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly qualified Restructuring Counsel to join its practice in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court workouts. Duties Represent secured lenders and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. Handle DIP financing and cash collateral use. Manage plans of reorganization and asset dispositions. Conduct out-of-court workouts and restructurings. Oversee foreclosures and liability management transactions. Facilitate assignments for the benefit of creditors. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of law firm experience in relevant areas. Strong communication skills. Excellent academic credentials. Strong writing and analytical skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Admission to the New York State Bar. Skills Proficiency in bankruptcy law and restructuring. Ability to manage complex legal transactions. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Benefits Comprehensive health insurance.
