Our professionals are aligned with a PEPI service line to promote the development of deep functional skills & experiences and to maximize our ability to tailor solutions to solve our clients' business issues.Our PEPI services include:Rapid ResultsCDD/StrategyInterim ManagementSupply ChainCFO ServicesM&A ServicesAbout the RoleA&M's PEPI CFO Services practice is seeking a Director with deep expertise in Finance Transformation to lead complex engagements and help clients improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and performance of their finance organizations.Our team works with CFOs and finance leadership teams to address challenges related to finance operating models, organizational effectiveness, cost optimization, process improvement, technology enablement, and management reporting. We bring a practical, execution-focused approach to designing and implementing sustainable improvements.As a Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, lead engagement teams and workstreams, and play an active role in developing our people, capabilities, and client relationships.What You'll DoClient Engagement & DeliveryLead Finance Transformation engagements and workstreams focused on improving finance function performance, reducing costs, enhancing service delivery, and driving operational efficiency.Assess current-state finance organizations, processes, systems, and operating models to identify opportunities for improvement.Design and implement future-state finance operating models, organizational structures, and transformation initiatives.Lead initiatives involving finance process optimization, automation, digitization, financial close improvement, and management reporting enhancement.Develop actionable transformation roadmaps, business cases, financial analyses, and implementation plans.Lead Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) initiatives, including feasibility assessments, operating model design, implementation, and optimization.Develop high-quality client deliverables, facilitate alignment with senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of recommended solutions.Manage engagement execution, deliverable quality, project timelines, and workstream coordination.Client Relationship Management & Business DevelopmentBuild and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, finance executives, and other senior client stakeholders.Serve as a day-to-day client leader, communicating findings, recommendations, risks, and progress.Support business development activities, including proposal development, sales pursuits, and identification of new client opportunities.Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, intellectual capital, and market-facing materials.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop consulting teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-quality execution.Provide guidance and oversight to team members while supporting their professional development.Manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.Contribute to practice development, recruiting, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.QualificationsRequired9-11+ years of relevant consulting and/or industry experience, including significant experience in Finance Transformation.Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:Finance transformation strategy and functional assessmentsFinance operating model and organizational designFinance cost reduction and operational efficiencyProcess improvement, intelligent automation and digitizationFinancial close optimization and management reporting enhancementGBS, Shared Services, and BPO strategy, design, implementation, and optimizationStrong understanding of core finance and accounting processes, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Experience developing financial analyses, business cases, transformation roadmaps, and executive-level presentations.Strong understanding of finance systems, enabling automation technologies, and leading practices across the finance function.Proven ability to lead project teams, manage complex workstreams, and deliver high-quality outcomes.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into practical recommendations.Demonstrated ability to build credibility with senior client stakeholders and work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%, based on client and engagement needs.PreferredPrior management consulting experience, particularly in Finance Transformation, CFO advisory, or operational improvement.Experience leading engagements and managing day-to-day client relationships, project economics, deliverables, and multiple workstreams.Practical experience across the full lifecycle of GBS, Shared Services, or BPO programs, including strategy, assessment, design, build, implementation, and optimization.Experience working with private equity-backed companies or in complex transformation environments.Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant business analysis and presentation tools.Your journey at A&MWe recognize that our people are the driving force behind our success, which is why we prioritize an employee experience that fosters each person’s unique professional and personal development. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance.
