Customs Entry Writer

With a presence in over 120 offices across 40 countries, we combine global expertise with local knowledge.Key Responsibilities:Follow company procedures and client-specific Standard Operating Procedures.Monitor and track inbound shipments.Review commercial documentation for accuracy.Resolve issues preventing timely entry and release of goods.Prepare and transmit CBP and PGA entries electronically.Coordinate the release of goods from CBP or PGA.Issue freight availability notices and coordinate delivery.Respond to communications from internal and external parties.Scan, upload, and archive documentation.Prepare and complete invoicing.Participate in creating a safe workplace.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:Attention to detail and urgency.Strong communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to perform basic arithmetic.Ability to read and interpret documents.Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.Strong data entry skills.Basic proficiency with Microsoft products.Education & Experience:Minimum:High school diploma or GED.3-5 years of prior customs brokerage experience.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in a related field.Customs Broker License.Specialist Certifications:None.Compensation and Benefits:Base salary range and benefits information for this position are provided in accordance with state/local pay transparency legislation. The base salary compensation range offered for this role is $25 - $36 USD per hour. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.SEKO Logistics is an equal opportunity employer.
