Garden State Veterinary Specialists (GSVServices) - Eatontown is excited to welcome a Veterinary Technician to our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team! About GSVS: We are a multispecialty practice with boarded veterinary specialists in Emergency and Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, and Ophthalmology. We have also been treating felines with hyperthyroid disease with radioactive iodine since 2001! We are also proud to have technicians here at GSVS with their VTS in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. As an ICU Veterinary Technician, you'll work alongside a skilled and supportive team to provide attentive, high-quality care to pets in our care. How You’ll Make a Difference Maintain accurate medical records and complete treatments promptly Follow ICU protocols and assist with CPR and patient stabilization Provide continuous monitoring and compassionate care for pets in our care Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment Manage sedation, anesthesia, fluid therapy, blood products, and CRIs Place and maintain IV lines, catheters, feeding tubes, and other indwelling tubes Provide care for mechanically ventilated pets when needed We're looking for a dedicated veterinary professional who possesses: Certification as a Veterinary Technician with a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, or 5+ years of veterinary technician experience A team-oriented mindset Self-motivation and initiative Strong attention to detail Effective problem-solving skills The ability to communicate professionally with clients and all members of the veterinary team A compassionate and empathetic approach to caring for pets in our care Excellent organizational skills Honesty, integrity, and a desire to enjoy the work you do GSVServices is proud to offer: $23-$34 per hour , based on skills, experience, and credentials, plus overnight shift differentials Sign-on bonus for full-time credentialed technicians Medical, vision and dental insurance options, with some plans available at little to no cost 401(k) with employer match Paid time off and paid parental leave Covered licensing fees and continuing education allowance Mental health support through Talkspace and ComPsych Pet insurance and generous discounts for teammates’ pets Access earned wages before payday with DailyPay Location: 246 Industrial Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 Veritas Veterinary Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
